Rally Saturdays at the Legislature

2 pm May to October

1 pm November to April

israel is an apartheid state. This means that israelis and Palestinians under israeli law are treated differently in almost every aspect of life: housing, education, health, employment, family life, residence etc. that is Palestinians are systemically oppressed. israel steals their lands, denies their right to residency and nationality, suspends their civil rights and forcibly displaces them. israel’s actions have historically been supported by Canada.

israel Is Committing Genocide
  • Between October 2023 and October 2025 israel killed at least 1000 Palestinians in the West Bank. One in five were children. Documentation by the UN Human Rights Office in the Occupied Palestinian Territory considers these killings as part of israel’s systematic use of lethal force against Palestinians. This lethal force includes but is not limited to the use of live fire, shoulder-fire missile and airstrikes on refugee camps, in an unlawful and disproportionate manner, with evident disregard for Palestinians’ right to life.
  • In Gaza at least 69,000 Palestinians have been killed by israel and over 140,000 have been injured since 2023. Thousands more remain buried under the rubble.
  • According to a report from an israeli human rights group, the number of people in israeli prisons more than doubled after October 7, 2023, and are mostly Palestinians rounded up, by israeli occupation forces without any criminal charges. The same report shows that at least 94 Palestinians were killed in israeli custody between Oct. 7, 2023, and August 2025, compared to 30 Palestinians that was killed in israeli custody between 2013 and 2023. The cause of death for the majority of Palestinians is, according to the report, physical violence and/or medical neglect.
  • Palestinians in detention are being sexually and/or physically abused (tortured) by israel. 9,500 Palestinians, including children, are suffering in israeli prisons. One third are being held without charge or trial, a violation of Palestinians’ human rights.
  • Since 2023 israel has destroyed 70 per cent of the civilian infrastructure – homes, agricultural lands, hospitals, schools, sanitation facilities, and much more – in Gaza, occupied Palestine.

  • israel is deliberately starving Palestinians in Gaza by restricting their access to aid. On October 10th 2025 israel, as part of a “ceasefire deal” promised to allow a set number of aid trucks into Gaza. As of November 10th, 2025, the flow of aid trucks continues to be restricted in southern Gaza, with no aid reaching the north. israel has not provided a reason for the closure of the northern crossings. The food that is let in is junk food such as chips and fizzy drinks, while the distribution of at least 350 nutritional foods such as eggs, meat and vegetables is prohibited. In other words, the deliberate starvation continues, albeit in a less obvious manner.
  • As part of the October 10th “ceasefire deal” israel is returning the remains of Palestinians. As of November 9th 2025, the remains of 300 Palestinians have been returned. Less than a hundred have been identified due to severe disfiguration of the bodies and lack of DNA testing. Unidentified bodies are being buried in mass graves.
  • In November 2024 the International Criminal Court issued arrest warrants for israel’s prime minister Benjamin Netanyahu and israel’s former war minister (2022-2024) Yoav Gallant for crimes against humanity and war crimes.
Nakba (Arabic for Catastrophe)
Photo from Al-Jazeera

The Nakba that started in 1948 was the violent ethnic cleansing of more than 700,000 of Palestine’s Indigenous people i.e., Palestinians.

The Nakba has progressed ever since, manifested by the ongoing land theft, displacement and genocide of the Palestinians that remained in occupied Palestine after 1948.

Over five million Nakba survivors and their descendants currently live as refugees outside of Palestine.

“While Canadians awake to the settler colonialism carried out by the state at home against Indigenous nations here, they are largely unaware that their government is deeply implicated in a contemporaneous process in Palestine.

– Jeremy Wildeman & Muhanad Ayyash.

Canada is Complicit
Photo from CJPME
  • Canada exports military goods to israel via the US, referred to as the US loophole.
  • Canadians’ pension plans invest billions in war crimes and complicit companies.
  • Canadian charities (and ‘burner’ charities) fund israeli occupation and military with hundreds of millions of tax free dollars per year, likely totalling more than two billion dollars in the past two decades.
  • CBC engages in journalistic malpractice and manufactures consent by whitewashing israel’s genocide. To learn more, click here.
  • Canada imports & labels wine from the Occupied Palestinian Territories as “Product of Israel”.
  • Canadian students are recruited by the israeli military with the support of some Canadian schools. Under our Foreign Enlistment Act, this is illegal.
